Scope, amount and purpose of use

1. Ethyl caproate has pineapple and banana like fruit aroma, as well as rich wine aroma. It is an edible flavor permitted in GB 2760-2020. It is commonly used to prepare banana, apple, pineapple and other fruit flavored edible essence and brandy, Baijiu and other wine essence. The dosage shall be added appropriately according to the needs of normal production, generally 32mg/kg in gum; 18mg/kg in cold drink; 12mg/kg in candy and baked goods; 7mg/kg in soft drinks. It is generally recommended that the concentration in flavored food should not be greater than 40mg/kg

2. Ethyl caproate is the main flavor in Luzhou flavor Baijiu, with a general content of 1600-2400mg/l. It is also one of the important aroma components in other flavor Baijiu. Its smell and taste are in 50% (v/v) deodorized ethanol. At 1000 mg/l, it has a strong flavor of Daqu liquor, with a slight smell of lees. It tastes sweet and refreshing, with a strong taste.
